At 2:16pm on March 4, 2009, Mandeep Singh said…: "ਇਹ ਗੋਰੇ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਹਿਮਾਲਿਆ ਪਹਾੜ ਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਇੰਨੀ ਕੁ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਕੁੱਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ। ਸਾਡੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਵਾਂ ਕੋਠੇ ਤੇ ਪੌੜੀਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਰਾ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਵੇਂਗਾ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਚੰਡੋਲ ਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਣ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਬੱਚੇ ਦਾ ਹੌਸਲਾ ਵਧਾਉ, ਫਿਰ ਉਹ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਰ ਖਾਣੀ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਜਿੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਪਣ ‘ਚ ਛੱਪੜ ‘ਚ ਵੜਣ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਹ ਸਮੁੰਦਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਤੈਰਾਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣ ਸਕਦੇ। ਇਹ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਦੁਖਾਂਤ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਣ ਲਈ ਧੜਾ ਧੜ ਮੰਦਰ ਬਣਾ ਰਹੇ ਸੀ ਓਦੋਂ ਗੋਰਿਆਂ ਨੇਂ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਗਾਹ ਕੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ ਤੇ ਮੁੜ ਕਈ ਸਦੀਆਂ ਸਿਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਰੱਬ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਭਾ।"
